Pressurized flying garments are used for extreme-altitude aviation, where cabin / ambient pressures are greater than 30,000 feet MSL equivalent. They are pressurized with 100% Aviator’s Breathing Oxygen and may be water- or gas-cooled, and may use closed-loop or open-loop breathing systems. They incorporate significant glove dexterity design measures and may be wired for a variety of communication systems, including aviation band. Depending on many variables, these garments cost between $15,500 and $35,000.
